ORCHARD PARK — Vince Young made some wobbly throws and ran the ball effectively. Business as usual for the two-time Pro Bowler and turned out to be the lone bright spot — somewhat — on a lackluster preseason debut for the Buffalo Bills offense. Young completed only five of his 12 pass attempts for 50 yards, but ran five times for a team-best 37 yards. The biggest cheer for Young came in the third quarter on a 3rd-and-20 in which he sprinted for 21 yards and the first down. "That's one of the things that's a blessing that I can use my legs and try to make some big plays," said Young. "I had a guy chasing me, but it was just the determination to get that first down." It was that kind of night for the Bills' offense, sputtering through the preseason opener Thursday night against the Washington Redskins. "We had some bumps and bruises, but that's why we play the games, to get ready for next week and get better as a team," said Young .Despite the ugly offense, Gailey was happy with what he saw from Young. "He created some things tonight and made some things happen," said Gailey. "That's what he brings to the football team." Young. "It takes time and it takes work." www.wellsvilledaily.com/sports/x866123076/Young-provides-some-thrills-to-listless-Bills

I don’t know if it was the fault of the quarterbacks or the offensive linemen (I’m going to lean O-line) but that needs to be corrected. The 2nd and 3rd team offensive lines looked horrendous to be honest. Most of the issues for Young were largely because he had a consistently collapsing pocket.
at least some people noticed it...
I hope playing with the 2s will improve Vince's results. And if that deep ball had been a little more accurate, he would have added a TD to his stats. Would have been a very different story from the stat quoters who like to hype Fake Fitz and Terrible Tyler
