Happy New Year to all. Well a lot of coach changes does this mean VY will get a call? Tell me what you think.

happy new year. unfortunately, if he didn't get a team last year, I think there is as good as no chance that he will get a team this year. he needs to move on to CFL or get into coaching. or maybe he must switch agents. but the current setup is not going to lead to any bites at the apple...

well, this would be it: tracking.si.com/2014/01/22/vince-young-files-for-bankruptcy/?xid=si_nflwith that attachd to his name, unfortunately he will only reinforce the perception that he is irresponsible / thoughtless. which is not what you want in your starting (or even backup) QB. Say farewell to your NFL career, Vince. You are done. Too much damage in perception to rebound from. And bankruptcy is pretty bizarre to be honest. Houston and Nashville are low cast places to live with moderate tax bases. Impossible to blow that much money so quickly without everyone thinking you are a moron off hte field. Sigh. We are all cooked. Bye.

ok. so it was basically his attorney forcing pro pplayer to cut a deal or else get nothing. not really about being brankrupt. not as bad as it sounds therefore, but it is still not going to help vince to be down to his last $1 million after such a rich rookie contract and endorsements too, undoubtedly. blog.chron.com/sportsupdate/2014/01/vince-young-asks-judge-to-dismiss-bankruptcy-petition/#19886101=0let's hope cheat carrol loses on sunday. for the rest, we will jut have to wait and see if we ever see Vince back in a NFL jersey again. I think he should switch to doing something at UT or in the CFL. The NFL must have written him off and it will only get more difficult for him (to even be considered for a backup role) every season. thoughts anyone?

Actually I wished Vince would have done this last off-season to get all this BS behind him... Now that this is settled he may get a call...Who knows....I would go to the CFL, light it up there for a year or two and try the NFL then....He needs to change the perception and not rely on anyone in the NFL to do that!

Im a big VY fan.. But you have to let go sometimes, he didnt get a fair shake and we all know that. At the same time, everything that has happened with VY, he allowed it to happen. If he would have simply shut his mouth in that locker room, stayed in the locker room and let Fisher fail on his own.. the titans would have been consistent contenders. Harbaugh could have been the new coach of Tennessee. Look what he has done with Kapernick. When I see Kap, i get the satisfaction of what VY could have been. And VY is faster with a stronger arm. But I have moved on, i wish Vince the best. the clock does not stop ticking for one person, each year, new talent comes and VY is not worth the risk.. I hate to say it but its the truth.

Vince needs to go to Canada and get a rebirth there...I don't trust the NFL to give him a fair shot....

Just a quick question...Does anyone think Vince might get called back to Green Bay? I am asking because they only have 2 qb's on their roster and have not resigned Matt Flynn....Just a thought...What about Vince going to the Jets with Mike Vick and the former Eagle offensive coordinator.....Just a thought....

I doubt he gets to go back to GB, just because it would raise all kind of question marks for the coaches. I keep hoping - against hope - that there will be at least 1 team that gives him a real shot. In the meantime, I agree with your advice that he should puruse opportunities in Canada as well. Sigh. Here is to hoping that things will work out for him one way or another...
