The Ponder Problem: The Vikings Should Make Other Plans www.dailynorseman.com/2012/12/11/3751912/the-ponder-problem-should-the-Minnesota-Vikings-dump-Christian-PonderWhat great about this article is this for me is "Besides the physical skills, it's the will and the strength inside, the 'it' factor that a quarterback either has or doesn't have," Chow said. "Obviously, he has it. The quickness in which he won the team over and the quickness in which he became the leader, the guy everybody looked up to, that was special. " Vince Young has this great ability to lift others around him."Naturally his offensive coordinator would talk him up, but this wasn't an uncommon opinion. Statistics websites like Cold, Hard, Football Facts ignored some of their commitment to raw data and called him the "real deal." From random blogs, to established media personalities like Rick Gosselin, Vince Young was special: His intangibles were strong enough to overcome any technical deficiencies he encountered at the quarterback position. Most NFL quarterbacks must learn how to play the position before they can win games. Young proved he could win while learning. He's going to be special.

it is too late for VY to get a shot with a team this year. it is all about next year, I guess. but decisions about off season acquisitions will be made pretty soon. I think the OTL interview was good in the sense that is did not make him look as foolish or unresponsible as he is depicted in the media. the media loves to hate Vince for some reason.
I also thought he looked very sharp in the training videos clips that they showed. hopefully he gets a fair shot next year.
i certainly do NOT want him to spend time with the Cards this season. that is one big hopeless mess. the last thing he needs.
next year: new coaches in KC, Bills, Cards, Jax, San Diego, probably a few more. plenty of QBs who flunked this year. So, hopefully opportunity for Vince. if he does not get a shot, I will not watch anymore NFL. enough is enough. this season I am only watching to see teams who have wronged VY lose. They were satisfying me (TN, Bills, Texans) last weekend, but this is no way to watch a sport...

anyone still out there holding on to some hope for Vince? after that debacle with sanchez last night I could only remain perplexed at how many starters Vince could replace today and be WAY better than them.
and yet, here he is on teh sideline, almost a forgotten figure. i am trying to not to be bitter, but getting angry is not capturing it either. and yes, there is no more time / point to get on board for this season. but i sure hope he is under consideration for next season for a whole bunch of teams. disgusting this situation.

The Titans were horrific. At one point, quarterback Jake Locker had two completions to Titans and two to the Packers. His accuracy was all over the place as balls were both over- and underthrown. Chris Johnson was a non factor as the Titans fell to 5-10. Fifty-five points tells you all you need to know about the defense. www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000115352/article/green-bay-packers-cruise-vs-tennessee-titanshas anyone noticed that PK has put up all kind of other stories but nothing about the Titans yet? I am sure he has his face way up someone's *ss, just like he always does with the coach of that team. tell me what to write to protect you coach? how 'lowly' were the Titans with Vince again? Oh right, winning records (when Vince was in) all the time. I am sure your Locke-room is much better now. Who cares about the stupide number anyway.... If Vince is not back with a good team, getting what he is due, I quite this league. They are a bunch of pathetic politicking morons. Leaving winners outside the lines.

predicted all season long, especially when F**k face Gailey F**ked Vince over and found a way to keep his tail buddy Thiggy a big fat undeserved paycheck: espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/52855/chan-gailey-ryan-fitzpatrick-era-must-end-in-buffalolooking forward to seeing them go, but hate that Vince's reputation will still have taken a huge beating. at least his agent (who is hopefully still looking out for him) can point to this mess and say what we said already: this is just gailey protecting Fitz from having a cedible QB threat breathing down his neck and it is not about winning games. Winning games = Vince. F**k 'em all! I am sorry but I have lost all civility and restraint. Just unwatchable. Unacceptable. Unthinkable. No resurrection for Vince next year = no hope for this league/business.
