i saw short interview with vince afterwards. it sounded to me that a lot of the plays were run to get evaluation film on players. so, e.g. can the RB on the bubble hit the hole the way he is supposed to, can this WR on the bubble run this complex route well, etc.
So, I had the impression from what vince said that they were not really looking at the score or putting together big drives. I saw only a few plays in the first quarter and then the final few plays live. It looked like the alternating with BJC was hampering his rhythm early on, but he was still pretty focused and doing ok. IN the second half it looks like things just regressed and became a bit of a mess. But I cannot tell if that was because of the evaluation plays or for other reasons. Anybody who watched the whole game has any insights?

Ugh! Hate this shit: espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/82738/if-not-vince-young-then-who#commentsI hope it is just an ESPN writer trying to get some clicks for his site. the guy has barely had a chance to learn the system, he has to run plays to evaluate players - most of whom will not make the roster - and he gets critized as if he played a regular season game with starters. just get your butt past the finish line vince!!!!! please!!! get a chance to learn....
